sleepover
Maya and I had our first sleepover at Grandma Friedman's house last week. She recently moved so we went to check out her new digs. The picture on the right they are on the couch and I think Maya's waving at me
We had so much fun with grandma and Maya slept like a champ all day long then 930pm-330am up for a snack then 430-730am.
We met up with some of my moms awesome family for dinner and she was great in the restaurant. I was so proud of her. The left photo she is with cousin Kym who couldnt get enough of her.
We are looking forward to visiting again soon!
mommy and me
Maya and I started a mommy and me group with all 4 of the mom's and babies from our birthing class.
We will meet at our house every other friday.
We had our first one this week and it was so much fun! It was a potluck so we ate, and of course the babies ate and I enjoyed the mommy company so much.
It was so fun I forgot to take pictures sadly, but I will try next time.
There ended up being 4 girls and 1 boy in the group and they were all born within 2 weeks of eachother, the first one Evelyn was born on Christmas! But the best part is all are healthy and super adorable

2 month check up
Maya had her 2 month check up last week which included 2 shots and 1 oral vaccine.
Yesterday she had the other 2 shots in the 2 month series
UGH it breaks my heart and I cry more than she does!
She is such a tough bug as daddy calls her. She cries just when the needle goes in then stops after a few more seconds.
No more doctor until shes 4 months old YAY!
Kenny and Lili stopped in to meet Maya on their way to san diego last night I didnt get any pics but it was a great short visit
They will come by again on their way home next week and I will be sure to snap some
It was also the premiere of my FAVORITE show of all time America's Next Top Model last night --SOOOO Happy!!
And YAY for mommy-- i just got a pedicure!

mommies birthday part 2
I had the best gift this year! I got to spend my birthday with one of my best friends, Elizabeth who lives in Nor Cal. She was down here to Celebrate her amazing Mom Judy's 60th birthday with her husband Tom ( I had the honor of performing their wedding ceremony a couple of years ago) and 2 wonderful kids, Leonardo and Seraphina at her aunt shiela and mary ellens cool beach house in Seal Beach. so Maya and I had a little adventure in the pouring rain together, and it was perfect. There was my all time favorite cake --strawberry shotrcake and just a really great day together. I was so happy to spend time with all of them. Elizabeth gave Maya and I a lesson on our baby carrier so now we use it all the time on walks.
Daddy and bunny Maya being cute
Elizabeth and Seraphina (6 months) and Maya and I with our bad ass Ergo carriers!

mommies birthday part 1
Maya went on her very first vacation for my birthday to San Ysidro Ranch up in carpenteria california (*where JFK stayed on his honeymoon by the way) :)
It is absolutely one of the most beautiful and relaxing places i have ever been as a former travel agent i HIGHLY recommend it.
we had our own cottage with a fireplace inside and a jacuzzi and outdoor shower on our private deck. we rarely left the cottage and got room service for every meal -now thats what I call a real vacation.
Here are some highlights:
Daddy and Maya enjoying some winter sunshine on the deck.
The 3 of us in the labrynth garden where they grow the food for their 2 ah-may-zing restaurants. can you see her bottom lip? sooo cute!
The hotel is so nice and swanky they gave us our own personalized stationary
Our welcome sign in front of our cottage-she's famous already!
sling school
shes an all star
