sick day 3

When Maya went to bed her fever was 101. I decided against the Advil and knew I wasnt going to be sleeping much, so I would keep an eye on her. She woke up at 1030 and needed to blow her nose. As I put the kleenex to her face, her nose burned my skin. I took her temp and it was 104. I took her into a cool shower and gave her some advil. In less than an hour it was 101. She asked me to sleep with her and I did for a while, and her skin was literally burning me. I was a mess. I was so scared. Afraid of a seizure, afraid it wouldnt come down. Thankfully it did. Its been low today, but is slowly creeping back up. She didnt sleep much and coughed alot last night too. I took her back to the dr today, and she has bronchitis. Not sure if its viral or bacterial. She is now on her first antibiotic, and I hope it kicks in soon. She isnt very hungry and is super snotty too. Poor thing. She has been a total trooper through this. Lots of TV is helping.
